Punjab Government and School Education department are inaugurating all new Khadim-e-alla’s Zewar-e-Taleem program. Government Punjab is trying to enrol more and more students in schools, providing them with a monthly stipend and other facilities. This program is one of the many steps being taken.
According to this program, an educational scholarship is being increased. This step is being taken especially for the educationally backwards districts of Punjab. Rs. 1000 will be monthly given to the female students of grade sixth to grade tenth. This scholarship will be paid to the students after every three months. This mega project is of Rs. 6 Billion.
Selected districts for Zewar-e-Taleem Project
The selected districts for the program are Bhakkar, Qasur, Okara, Lodhraan, Vehari, Pakpattan, Khanewal, Jhung, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Chiniot.
Eligibility
The schoolgirls who will have more than 80% attendance will be eligible for the scholarship. Those students who are repeating the academic year will not be eligible for the scholarship.
Acquisition of Khidmat card
Khidmat card can be acquired easily from the near service center. Following are the ways through which students can get their scholarship money:
- Money can be acquired from the TM of any bank using the Khidmat card and the given code.
- Money can also be withdrawn from any near money reimbursement centre of the Bank of the Punjab using their real CNIC and Khidmat card.

- Users should make sure that their card must not be displaced
- The special code on the card must not be disclosed to any other person. In case of emergency, helpline must be contacted at once
