Xiaomi Lu Weibing recently confirmed that the highly anticipated MIX Fold 3 model will hit the market in August 2023. However, Xiaomi has more in store for its eager fans, as it plans to release additional devices alongside the MIX Fold 3.
Xiaomi’s Ambitious Plans
According to a recent report, Xiaomi is preparing to launch several new products next month. Among them are the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max and the Redmi K60 Ultra. The company has its sights set on introducing the Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, an upcoming tablet that has already generated buzz. This tablet was recently spotted on the Bluetooth SIG listing, indicating an imminent release. Moreover, the Pad 6 Max had also appeared on the 3C certification database, further solidifying its arrival.

The Awaited MIX Fold 3
The MIX Fold 3, undoubtedly one of the most anticipated Xiaomi devices, is set to launch in August. The report suggests that the MIX Fold 3 and Pad 6 Max will have separate launch events in China. The smartphone model, MIX Fold 3, is expected to hit the market in early August, preceding the launch of the MIX Fold 3. Interestingly, the software for both devices, the MIX Fold 3 and the Pad 6 Max, is already live on the official MIUI server, building anticipation among tech enthusiasts.
Unveiling the Devices
The MIX Fold 3 is internally referred to as Babylon, featuring MIUI FOLD 14.1 based on Android 13 out of the box. This foldable smartphone showcases Xiaomi’s cutting-edge technology and design prowess. On the other hand, the Pad 6 Max, codenamed Yudy, will operate on Android 13 as well. The launch timeline aligns with a previous report that hinted at a Q3 2023 release.
