So the Chinese company Xiaomi have teasing the upcoming Redmi smartphone with a 64 MP quad sensor camera setup for quite some time now and while the details on the said smartphone are yet to be given by the company, it is worth noting that the company is adding a high-resolution camera to its Redmi smartphone, the news coming from a report.
Moreover, Xiaomi Future Image Technology Communication Conference which is an organization based Beijing, China have reported that Xiaomi recently gave a presentation which was focused on the company’s camera technology. The Chinese tech giant had reportedly revealed an amazing 64MP Samsung ISO CELL GW1 camera sensor and in turn also teased a smartphone which may come with double the amount of resolution, yes people a camera phone with with a 108MP sensor. The 64MP Redmi smartphone is expected to be released in the markets in the fourth quarter of 2019 and in accordance with the Chinese company’s claims, Redmi will be the first company to add a 64MP sensor on a camera ever.

Furthermore, this new camera sensor packs 38 percent more pixels than the current 48 MP camera sensors devices available in the market. Now according to what the company have said , the new camera will allow users to capture brighter, more detailed and vibrant pictures with amazing picture quality. The ISO CELL GW1 sensor measures 1/1.7 inches and has a 1.6-micrometer pixel size. The Redmi smartphone which will feature this sensor will most probably come with a quad-camera setup and will debut in the market of India first. Even though the event was focused on the already released 64 MP sensor, Xiaomi have also hinted on the possibility fora smartphone which may feature a 108 MP camera.
