Xiaomi’s latest MIUI 11 started to get itself placed on both flagship category models as well as the mid-rangers. The new update brings about a host of new features, including the likes of a completely redesigned interface, a new font, Always on display and much more to go with all this. Now though, it seems like there will be more features in the works to go with all that will be offered with regards to the MIUI 11. Latest speculation with regards to the company shows that it is in the process of testing a new advanced display calibration feature on the custom ROM. This will give users more control on how their device screen looks like.
The discovery was made by XDA developers, who noticed the new advanced display calibration controls in the latest MIUI 11 nightly build, within a hidden settings page. With these new controls, users will be given the option to choose the very color gamut form the four available options which go on to include Enhanced, Original, P3 and sRGB. These also happen to be know as sliders that can be used to individually control the Red, Green and Blue color levels in the RGB color space.

And so if and when you make an adjustment to the settings, a life preview window will most likely make an appearance at the very top and all the changes are then automatically saved unless the user clicks on the Discard changes or indeed proceeds with the Restore defaults button found at the bottom.
As to when Xiaomi is looking to roll out the brew display controls to a stable build of MIUI 11 remains to be seen – for now though, we’re still pretty much in the dark. The same is the case as far as the devices likely to be on the receiving end go.
