Donald Trump has been a significant figure in the debate between Pakistan and India regarding the fate of Kashmir. He has reiterated at several international forums that he would be ready to mediate between the parties if both parties want but India have been stubborn not to allow any chance of negotiation and that brings the entire situation in a very vulnerable state.
Trump has now encourage Pakistan and India to work it out because it really is getting out of hands, keeping in mind that both are nuclear armed countries and any flares could really lead to disastrous consequences. Well! Dear Donald Trump, we did thought of that, but it seems like India does not seem to be willing to talk with Pakistan. One thing to point out here is, both Pakistan and India believe that it is a problem between the two countries which is very disappointing considering that Kashmiris have every right to decide their future and they should be the ones having the final say. But the current clampdown is extremely brutal and should be lifted so that atleast people in Kashmir can have a sigh of relief.

Trump was questioned regarding the matter to which he replied

And I think he’d like to see something happen that would be very fruitful, very peaceful. And I think that will happen, ultimately. I really believe that these two great gentlemen (Prime Minister Imran and Prime Minister Modi) will get together and work something
So basically, all that Trump is doing right now is making sure that both countries have good relations with the US without making sure that they sit on a table and discuss the situation out.
