While one can easily blame depression and anxiety to be the cause for any suicide among the ranks of society, be it a A list bollywood actor or common man failing to meet the expectations of society, depression if not handled effectively can lead you to the path of taking your own life. However, after making that statement, it is also worth understanding the events that lead a person in to depression, a feeling of un rest, of no joy or happiness, which in turn leads you to suicide.
Nepotism is a pretty familiar word in the bollywood world, actors who are made for the major films, are usually products of a bollywood godfather, who had his fair share of films in the past times, now their sons and daughters take it to rule the throne of bollywood. Such is the case of Sushant Singh as well, a talented actor who worked hard to breakthrough in this world, but due to the ill treatment of major directors who are all for nepotism and completely disregard talent, have played a significant role in sending the actor in to the abyss of depression. It should be noted that a case has been filed in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur court against reportedly, six prominent Bollywood filmmakers who are in connection with the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The case was filed by senior lawyer Sudhir Kumar Ojha in the Chief Judicial Magistrate’s court. The date of hearing in connection has been set for 3rd July.
According to reports, the filmmakers who have been summoned by the court include the likes of Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sajid Nadiadwala, actor Salman Khan and Ekta Kapoor. Karan Johar is a well known bearer of nepotism in the bollywood world and among many others he has made things hard for a lot of talented actors, including Sushant. The case was filed under sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 109, 504 (intentional insult) and 506 (criminal intimidation).
Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut, along with few others, has been listed as a witness in the case. Lawyer Sudhir Kumar Ojha said “I was hurt to know that Sushant Singh Rajput, a young Bollywood actor, was removed from seven films and few of his movies were not even released. It seems that a situation was created by the accused which prompted the young actor to take such drastic step” he further issued this complaint to the aforementioned courts as well and it seems that an investigation is well under way. Such, ill behaviour goes to show the disgusting ways of this sickening world.

Moving on, Sushant Singh Rajput was born in Patna and the actor was found hanging at his apartment in Mumbai’s Bandra on Sunday. The postmortem report found asphyxiation due to hanging as the major reason behind his death. His close ones also suspect foul play to be a factor in the incident and have hence urged the government to launch a high-level investigation to find out the truth in this case.
It is also worth noting that a few political leaders in Bihar including, Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) president Pappu Yadav demanded a CBI probe into the case and have urged the police to leave no stone unturned while carrying out the investigation.
JAP President, Pappu Yadav said. “A talented actor like Sushant Singh Rajput cannot commit suicide. He is a victim of Nepotism. I met his family members and they want a probe in the case.” Finally, Sushant’s fans in Bihar have also launched a campaign against nepotism in the film industry. On Tuesday, some fans in Patna burned effigies of a few filmmakers and urged the people to “boycott their movies”.
