A series of novel features have recently been introduced by WhatsApp beta for iOS in the known social contact app. Few of these features have previously been disclosed by a twitter account namely WABetaInfo, that is quite famous for unveiling the WhatsApp updates frequently.
No official announcement has been made yet about the upcoming new features, but what WhatsApp beta indicates is the tracking system which when launched will enable you to track the position and location of any of the group participants.
Besides tracking system, following five features are likely to be introduced under the banner of WhatsApp updates.
Messages are Editable:
Sent message in the wrong window? No regrets! Whatsapp will offer you the best option of editing a text message you just sent provided the message is still unseen. Once the message is seen, Whatsapp cant help you sorry! Whereas messaging services such as BBM and Telegraph consists of a similar option.
Recalling: recalling calls for the same function of editing the sent message, but not only you can edit it, but also delete the sent message until or unless the recipient has seen the message.
Live location tracking
This will help you in spying on your friends. Oh but if you are not really into spying your friends, you can just simply check out the positions of your friends the very moment as WhatsApp brings you the live location tracker. This will enable you to track the locations of group members. The feature will be disabled by default and users will need to enable it in the WhatsApp settings menu.Users can also enable the feature for a limited time — 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 minutes or indefinitely.
