Just last week on Baidu forums, leaked specs as well as images of Nokia 5.2 upcoming Daredevil smartphone had surfaced. The “Nokia Daredevil” is just a codename, and while the device may release with the codename as the name, one would have to imagine that Nokia has something else planned up. After last week’s appearance, the rumors were through the roof that the device might either be the Nokia 6.2 or perhaps the Nokia 5.2. Interestingly enough, the people down at Nokia Anew Twitter account have stated that the smartphone may release in the market as the Nokia 5.2.
We did not see any Nokia 4 series smartphone released last year. The tweet has made claims that the new Nokia 4 (Nokia 4.2) is actually the successor to the Nokia 5.1 device that we saw last year. And so it makes all the sense in the world that the Nokia 5.2 would come with specs which are more advanced. The leak has also claimed that the device would be pushed through the more expensive segments that the company has to offer, as it is expected to come with features such as ZEISS optics, PureDisplay and OZO audio which are available on high-end models from the company. And so it appears that the Nokia Daredevil which is rumored to arrive with all these specs may debut with the Nokia 5.2 name.

The images which we saw last week of the Daredevil phone go on to reveal that the device will feature with a waterdrop notch surrounded by considerably thick bezels. The rear of the phone features with a glass back, and has a circular module which consists of three camera sensors along with an LED flash. The device is also rumored to feature with a 48MP ZEISS optics main sensor as well as a superwide lens. The smartphone is to carry support for Night Mode function for the case of shooting brighter shots in dim-light conditions.
The device will indeed be powered by the Snapdragon 660. On the battery front, the phone will be integrated with a 3500mAh battery, while it will also feature with the 3.5mm headphone jack, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a USB-C port and a hardware button designed specially to work for Google assistant.
As of now, we have no information present over the launch of the device, however, we won’t be in the dark for too long as the launch is nearing.
