Not that Alexa couldn’t turn off the lights and close your garage, it can now also make your house smell amazing. Prolitec announced on Monday that its Aera fragrance systems can now be voice controlled through Amazon Echo smart speaker and other devices which are Alexa-compatible.
The Aera systems offer not one, but eight different fragrances, which range from the likes of pink grapefruit to basmati rice. The capsules holding the fragrances can operate all 24 hours a day and can last fully for 60 days. Alexa not only has the ability to turn Aera on, but it can also raise or lower scent levels, with your desire.
If you already own Aera, then there is good news for you! You can get it to work with Alexa, simply by enabling the Aera skill in your Amazon Alexa app.
