Vivo announced the Vivo V15 Pro last month in India, and at the time of the announcement, there were many who thought that the company would also bring along the non-pro model of the phone with it. However, while that did not happen, Vivo had indeed now announced the Vivo V15 in Thailand.
The Vivo V15 not only has a larger 6.53-inch 1080 x 2340 display, but the screen is also covered with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5. Much like the pro version of the phone, this too doesn’t have a notch integrated within, as a punch hole display with an In-display fingerprint scanner is what we get from the phone. Coming with 6 gigs of RAM along with 128 gigs of expandable storage, the phone is powered by the Helio P70 processor.

The V15 comes with a 32MP f/2.0 pop-up selfie camera, while on the rear of the phone we have a 12MP f/1.78 + 8MP f/2.2 + 5MP f/2.4 triple camera setup. The four cameras are accompanied by a large range of features and modes, with these including the likes of a super wide-angle mode, AR stickers, body shape adjustment, as well as scene recognition. The phone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated within.
The bigger display was an obvious indication that the phone would feature with a bigger battery – and so has proved, as the phone consists of a 4000mAh battery unit, with it having the support for Dual-Engine fast charging. The phone runs on Funtouch OS 9 – which happens to be based on the Android 9.0, right out of the box. It also features with a dedicated button for the Jovi AI Assistant.
Vivo V15 announced in Thailand
Coming with a price tag of around $346 in Thailand, it is unclear whether the phone will be launched in other countries too. However, with time progressing, it won’t take too long before we have the answer to this question too.
