The Vivo V11 is a follow up on the Vivo V9, which was released earlier this year. The phone has elements belonging to not only the Vivo X21, but also the OPPO F9.
The similarities begin with the F9 as the Vivo has announced an all new slimmed down design for the proper support for a display notch. And also much like OPPO, Vivo too has given a special name to the display. OPPO calls its version the ‘Waterdrop Screen’, while Vivo has gone with the ‘Halo fullview display’. The shape is actually quite different from other notched phones we have seen coming in recently – with the phone having a more acute angle on the curve, which stays closer to the circle of the selfie camera lens. And also, the notch on the phone is quite small when taken into comparison with other notched displays.
Another reason how the company can take full advantage on maximizing the screen to body ratio is by providing an inbred fingerprint scanner – something which Vivo has been quite renowned for. Granted the fingerprint scanner would probably be a bit slower when compared to other conventional scanner, however, the convenience is maximized because you wouldn’t have to reach out onto the back of your phone just to make contact with the fingerprint scanner.

Also when you take into account that an inbred fingerprint scanner only works in OLED screens – this represents quite an update for the V series itself, because the previous phone in the series, the V9 came with an LCD panel.
If you’re wondering about specs of it all, the Vivo is supposed to come with a snapdragon 660 processor, so do expect the phone to be quite fast. The display of the phone too is quite impressive. As I mentioned previously, the phone will have an OLED display, featuring a 19.5:9 6.41-inch 1080p super AMOLRD display. The RAM on the phone is also quite impressive, coming to 6GB, while the internal storage would be of 128 gigs. The 3400 mAh battery is just fine – not too impressive, however, not too bad either.
There is a 25MP f/2.0 selfie camera, while the back would feature a 12-MP f/1.8 rear camera, coming along with a 5-MP secondary sensor. To the relief of many, there will be a headphone jack, and the phone will also support dual engine fast charging.
