Just earlier this week, Vivo took the authority of introducing us with its latest smartphone, the Vivo V11. Initially after the reveal, the phone was only available in India and Thailand, however, this is not the case anymore. Vivo hasn’t stopped just yet, as company has introduced yet another phone in its long range – the Vivo X23.
The phone brings along an In-display fingerprint scanner to its wide range of capabilities, while there is also the presence of a notch on the phone – something which has become more of a trend these days. You can call it whatever you want, however the notch is home only to the front facing camera, nothing else.
The Vivo X23 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor. Coming along with 8GB of RAM, you’d expect the phone to be quite fast and smooth, as well as a performance mode, which is dubbed Dial Turbo Acceleration Engine.
In terms of the display and the screen, the phone is equipped with a 6.41-inch panel, with 1080 X 2340 resolution. Due to the presence of the previous talked about in display fingerprint scanner, the screen is a super AMOLED panel, and you can be assured that with a display like this, there won’t be many better.

The 12MP selfie shooter is the reason behind the notch which is present on the phone. Basically, the main camera duo on the back of the phone consists of a 12 and 13MP unit. While the 12MP camera has an aperture of f/1.8 and regular field of view, the 13MP snapper is a wide-angle camera with f/2.4.
The Vivo X23 comes with 128 gigs of storage, and while it runs Android 8.1 straight out the box, there is also Fun touch OS 4.5 on top of it. The battery is also expected to be good, coming at 3400 mAh, equipped with 22.5W fast charging capabilities.
The phone will be available in three colors – Purple, Red, and blue. The phone doesn’t come cheap, however, it also isn’t as expensive as other flagship phones. The phone will be available for around $510, and while there is not much information just yet on the global availability of the drive, it is expected that after the initial release in China, this would be the case.
