No visa fee for tourists under 18 in UAE. United Arab Emirates (UAE) has changed their visa policy in order to attract more visitors to the country particularly families.According to the new rules, kids under 18 years of age can get benefit of going to UAE for two months free when applying for their tourist visa with their parents or guardians. This two months relaxation in visa fees will be applicable from 15 July to 15 September every year.On Sunday, UAE Cabinet passed this law and made the decision to exempt under 18 dependents from the visa fee to support family tourism. UAE is one of the most leading tourist destinations of the world, and the country has been working good to attract more foreigners. The objective behind this move is to clearly grab the attention of more tourists to earn more revenue through tourism each year in peak months i.e. July to September.

Furthermore, in a recent past the authorities have also removed the entry fee for transit passengers in the first 48 hours, with a choice to extend this period to 96 hours for only AED 50. According to the details, the first quarter of 2018 has witnessed 32.8 million passengers travel through the airports in UAE. Now, after new policy which is more tourist-friendly, the numbers are possibly to skyrocket more than ever.
The new policy is already in effect for dependents and is valid for tourists from all over the world.
