Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, a budget airline operating in the UAE, has received approval from the Pakistani government to launch its services in the country. The airline plans to offer discounted flights to Pakistan, with ticket prices starting at around AED 179.
According to a report by Khaleej Times, Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is currently in the process of updating its regulatory framework to enter the South Asian market, including Pakistan and India. The airline’s Managing Director, Johan Eidhagen, stated that they are eyeing the region due to its high demand.

Eidhagen confirmed that the airline will announce its routes soon after the regulatory framework updates are complete. He also mentioned that Wizz Air Abu Dhabi is not only looking to add new destinations but is also considering increasing the number of flights on its current routes.
Eidhagen advised potential customers to join the Wizz Discount Club for exclusive discounts on airfares once the airline commences operations in Pakistan and India. He added that some prices are even lower than AED 179, but only for club members.
Describing Wizz Air Abu Dhabi as the “discount king,” Eidhagen urged UAE residents to subscribe to the airline’s newsletter to stay updated on the latest sales and promotions.
