For such students, while there will not be any composite exams, they will in fact be making an appearance in the grade 10 and 12 exams, with the previous year’s result forming the basis on which the result will be calculated.

For all those students who could not actually appear in the class 10 and 12 exams, they will be assessed on the result that they managed in 9 and 11 provided that they passed all the subjects that were present in the curriculum. Also, three percent marks will actually be added to the accumulated amount which was calculated for the classes 10 and 12.
As far as those who have failed in less than 40 percent subjects in both 9 as well as 11 go –they will be on the receiving end passing marks.
Not to forget of course, there will also be a special exam held for all those looking to better the grades that they had gotten from the class 11 results. This special examination will also apply to those students who will be sitting for composite exams as well as for those that have taken the option for additional subjects. And if you or your child have failed to pass more than 40 percent of the subjects based in grade 11, then this special exams will also, once again, apply!
