It is now only a number of days before Realme finally goes on to launch its latest smartphone in the Realme 5s. Over the course of the past few days, little bits of information with regards to the specs and the capabilities of the phone are being released, and now, amongst the rumors and speculation is the disclosure of the processor integrated within the device.
The latest speculation suggests that the Realme 5s will feature with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor – much similar to the one that we have integrated within the Realme 5. One of the main attractions that the processor will bring along with it is the factor of power-efficiency. And couple this fact with the massive 5000mAh battery that is within the device and one would have to imagine that the upcoming Realme 5s will last well more than just a day. According to GSMarena, the Realme 5 has an endurance rating of 144 hours.

The Snapdragon 665 processor was announced seven months ago back in April of this year by Qualcomm. It happens to be an 11nm octa-core processor with eight Kryo 260 cores clocking at 2.0GHz. It also features with an Adreno 610 AIE GPU, a Hexagon 686 DSP, along with a Spectra 165 ISP. The SoC has since then been known to power many phones : including the likes of the Mi A3, OPPO A9 2020, OPPO A5 2020, and also the Redmi Note 8/8T.
As far as the specs of the 5s are concerned, the device will have a 6.51-inch HD display and a waterdrop notch integrated right at the top. The device will feature with a quad camera setup on the rear – and this setup will have a 48MP primary sensor. In the past few days, it has also been revealed that the device will indeed be available in Crystal Red, plus it will also have a fingerprint scanner on the back along with the rear camera setup. Right now, it is only the 48MP camera which differs the Realme 5s from the Realme 5 – whether there will be more differences to account for, we shall see.
