It would seem now that the wait for the Google Pixel 3 Lite and the Google Pixel 3 XL Lite wouldn’t be for too long, as the two smartphones have quite recently passed through FCC, doing so with models numbers of G020C and G020G.
The filings through the FCC showcase that both the devices will go on to feature with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, LTE, as well as Android 9 Pie. It is also interesting to note that the models numbers which have just surfaced do actually go on to fall in line with what Google has used for the previous Pixel branded phones.
For now, Google’s request for confidentiality has prompted no images or other information to be shown, and also we should all be aware of the fact that the filings gone through FCC don’t actually state that the phones that have just gone through the certification are indeed the Pixel 3 Lite and the Pixel 3 XL Lite.

We do know though what the phones will look like to much of an extent, and what the phones will be featuring, all the credit goes to the months and months of rumors that have followed up to this day. Both the phones look quite like their high-end siblings, however, there are some huge changes to note – the Pixel 3Lite and the Pixel 3 XL Lite see the return of the headphone jack, use IPS displays instead of the more premium OLED, feature single speakers, and go on to includeplastic bodies instead of the more sleek looking glass.
The alleged 12MP rear camera and the 8MP selfie camera are said to be the same as the ones which are found on the normal Pixel 3 phones, so even though the new devices from Google will feature with a tad slower processor, the pictures taken by the phone should still look really good.
The Pixel 3 Lite and Pixel 3 XL Lite – soon to arrive?
The main differences between the phones, like one would have imagined, comes from under the hood. It has been rumored that the Pixel 3 Lite will feature with an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor, 4 gigs of RAM, 32 gigs of internal stage, and a 2915mAh battery to keep the lights running. It is presumed that the Pixel 3 XL Lite too will feature the same specs, with an improvement in display and battery likely.
