Starting with a disclaimer, the price range that previously accounted for mid range phones have now changed since flagship phones started costing north of pkr 100,000 and therefore mid-range phone got a range jump to, you guessed it, around 50k pkr. This is no way near the mid range mark that was previously considered but still, Vivo plans on making a splash in the Pakistani market with its new device which is going to impress more than a few people with the features it provides in its price point.
Starting off with the notch-less display, the pop-up camera is going to give 32MP of photography hidden behind the screen and popping up when needed to provide a seamless experience. The variant to hit Pakistan would be the 4GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage and this is a very encouraging sign seeing companies now normalizing 128GB of storage with increased storage usage by the OS alongwith bigger size of pictures and all the other apps. 128GB becomes a sigh of relief for all those who have to backup data and then delete the on device data to make way for some more photos and apps.

The screen is a full HD display at 6.38 inches and with no notch to disturb, it will end up being a very immersive experience. Dual SIM functionality, audio jack is all in and that ticks all the basics. Talking about the camera, we have all the bells and whistles here with a 16MP wide, 8MP ultra wide and 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots.
Now on to the disappointments, thankfully there is only when and we hope that it doesn’t make as big of a difference as we fear it would. The smartphone comes with a mediatek processor which doesnot have a good experience with the duration of the device. It seems to lack the same level of performance after a short while, but still it is a capable processor and we have our fingers crossed for this.
All in all, this is going to be a tough competition for other devices and with the reputation that Vivo has established in Pakistan, this is going to be a good selling smartphone, hopefully.
