Vivo has just recently confirmed that its latest and upcoming device – the iQOO Pro 5G is set to feature with a 4500mAh battery. A teaser poster with regards to the device was released earlier and it contained the details over the size of the battery. This does represent an improvement over the previous iQOO, which had a battery size of 4000mAh. This improvement also does make a lot of sense, when you consider the 5G modem that the device will have onboard. The larger battery is also quite likely to impact both the size as well as the weight of the phone.
The Pro 5G phone is set to launch on the 22nd of August and will be featuring with a Snapdragon 855+ SoC. It will also be Vivo’s very first device that will feature with the luxury of 5G connectivity. The device has also previously appeared on TENAA – and this gave us an insight over the internals of the device.

The phone will feature with either eight gigs of RAM or 12 gigs of RAM. As far as the storage options will be concerned, Vivo will offer three : 128GB, 256GB, and finally, 512GB. On the camera side of things, the phone will come with a 12MP selfie shooter that will obviously placed on the front of the device. The rear of the device is set to come with a triple camera setup, and this will consist of a 48MP primary sensor, along with a 3MP and a 12MP sensor.
