So Kevin Smith has officially announced that a series is set to make its way on to the famous movie platform Netflix which will be a continuation of the 1980’s popular TV series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. He made this announcement at the annual Power-Con which was held on Sunday.The main idea of the show is a‘revelation’which will be set in Mattel’s toy inspired world and we will see the characters solve all the mysteries unsolved from the original show and this has excited many of the fans from the 80’s who once enjoyed watching this legendary show.
Smith later added that “I’m Eternia-ly grateful to Mattel TV and Netflix for entrusting me with not only the secrets of Grayskull, but also their entire Universe,” Eternia-ly is a reference to the show. He further added that“In Revelation, we pick up right where the classic era left off to tell an epic tale of what may be the final battle between He-Man and Skeletor! Brought to life with the most metal character designs Powerhouse Animation can contain in the frame, this is the Masters of the Universe story you always wanted to see as a kid!”

Moreover, the executive producer of the show also added that, “Masters of the Universe has been a cultural phenomenon for generations, inspiring fans to discover their own power within. Fans of this franchise have been waiting for the continuation of these characters, and Kevin Smith, as a Masters superfan himself, is the perfect champion and partner to expand the canon through a dynamic animated series on Netflix.”
Moreover another well known series was also revived by the popular Movie Platform which is known as Netflix’s She-Ra.This series has been received in open arms by the audience, but everyone had the lingering question about He-Man’s existence in the show and who knows we may even see a crossover between the two shows. Only time will tell but we as an audience can simply not wait to see He-Man in action.
