Just last week a new smartphone from Honor – named as the Honor 9X Pro was subject to certification by Russia’s communications agency. The more recent news surrounding the phone is with regards to its full specifications being leaked ahead of the final release.
In accordance to the source that has leaked the information, the Honor 9X Pro goes on to feature with some quite interesting specs to say the least. The display of the device is expected to be in between of 6.5” to 6.7” and it is expected that it will be an LCD panel. As far as the selfie camera goes, the device will have a punch hole which will house a 25MP camera.
Similar to most of the phones that have been released this year, the Honor 9X Pro too will feature with a 48MP camera. Coming in as the Sony IMX582 sensor, it will be paired with an 8MP super-wide angle camera, a 2MP macro lens and another 2MP depth sensor – concluding a quad camera setup for the device.

As far as the battery of the phone is concerned, the device will come with a unit worth 4000mAh so as to support the huge display. The device will also have the luxury of 20W fast-charge technology in order to allow users to charge their device in the shortest time possible. The back of the phone will have a 3D glass design, and while it still seems a bit early to say exactly what colors the phone will feature in, it is expected that it will have at least one gradient finish.
It has also been claimed that the device will be powered by the new Kirin 810 SoC. If this does indeed turn out to be the case, it will only be the second device to have the processor – the first being the Nova 5.
As of now, there isn’t much information present as to when the Honor 9X Pro will hit the market, however, one would have to imagine that it will be after that of the Nova 5 – which will be the first Kirin 810-powered chipset.
