Samsung unveiled its flagship series of mobile products at the Mobile World Congress 2019, and amongst these products was a phone capable of 5G technology, called the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, with it is the first of two 5G capable smartphones that the Korean manufacturer has produced. More on the subject of the Galaxy S10 5G, Samsung hasn’t actually specified when exactly the phone is set to launch, however, recent reports have gone on to state that the phone will be launched in South Korea in April.
Reports have also suggested that while Samsung is gearing up and ready for the launch of the phone in April, at first the Korean manufacturer had planned for the launch to take place in late March in South Korea, however, these plans fell through leading Samsung to choose an alternate.

For the enthusiasts in other regions – you’ll have to wait just a bit longer. With regards to the US, the S10 5G is likely to debut in Verizon in the first half of 2019. The rest of the networks are reported to then carry the phone from “this summer.” Also, Samsung hasn’t actually commented on whether or not the phone will be available to the rest of the world.
While the tech is without doubt the latest, even if you manage to get your hands on to the Galaxy S10 5G, there are high chances that the you’re probably residing in a city that doesn’t actually have 5G just yet. Even in the US, the proper coverage for 5G is years away. So if you really are an enthusiast, and plan to get your hands on the phone, it would be advisable to check out you carrier’s 5G coverage before you spend well over a thousand dollars on the device.
