At the Mobile World Congress taking place last month, Sony had announced the Sony Xperia 1 flagship phone, and the company did so by announcing two other phones as well – the Xperia 10 and the Xperia 10 Plus mid-range devices. Now, speculation consists of the tech giant working on a smartphone more powerful than the Sony Xperia 10. Reports and rumors suggest that this device could actually be the Sony Xperia 4, and with regards to that, there have indeed been plenty of details of the alleged phone that have surfaced.
The alleged Xperia 4 is rumored to feature with a 5.7-inch display, which will perhaps deliver full HD+ resolution of 2520 x 1080 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 21:9. The Xperia 1 features with a 6.5-inch display, with the same being the case for the Xperia10 Plus. The Xperia 10 on the other hand, has a 6-inch display. All the mentioned phones are actually fitted with 21:9 aspect ratio screens, and so in comparison to this, the Xperia 4 would seem like a compact device. It is expected that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 710 along with 4 gigs of RAM.

The internal storage for the device is alleged to be 64 gigs, while it could feature with a battery of 2800mAh. The phone also may come with a dual camera setup on the rear, however, exact configurations related to the cameras are not known yet.
One would imagine that the lack of a headphone jack is a disappointing factor, and while the Xperia 1 too doesn’t feature with a headphone jack, the same cannot be said about the Xperia 10 and the Xperia 10 Plus – as both the phones feature with the headphone jack.
The Xperia 4 may feature in 4 colors : Sliver, Black, Purple, and Red. The phone will indeed be an IP certified water-resistant and dustproof device. At this moment of time, there is not evidence that the phone even exists, or whether it indeed will, hence, it is advisable to take all the rumors that may come your way with a grain of salt.
