Actor Sonam Kapoor got married with businessman Anand Ahuja on Tuesday. The wedding venue was filled with the stuff of any wedding-lover’s dreams.
Sonam looked like the perfect bride with her perfect groom. Her wedding venue was a perfect match for all the perfection like her family around her.
The wedding venue was not a lavish five-star hotel as Sonam had previously talked about this matter saying that she loves to get married at her home as it will save her money that could be used for some noble cause. So, the bride was seen at the beautiful home of her aunt in Bandra, Mumbai.
The biggest names in Bollywood were hosted at the marriage ceremony. The house was decked up in beautiful blue & white upholstery in the garden area for a traditional Sikh wedding, Anand Karaj.
Bride’s sister Rhea Kapoor shared a picture of the venue on her Instagram story reading that, “You made our dreams come true,”. The appreciation was tagged to interior designer Rani Pink.

The couple hosted a grand reception for their colleagues and friends from Bollywood at Mumbai’s Leela hotel on Tuesday night.
Newlyweds looked very coordinated. Bride looked gorgeous in a chevron lehenga in dark grey, white & gold by Anamika Khanna. The groom was wearing a black sherwani and sneakers (by VegNonVeg).
Shatrughan Sinha, his wife Poonam; Kangana Ranaut, and Praful Patel were among the first arrivals of the party.
Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor; her uncle Sanjay with his wife & daughter; Maheep; and Shanaya Kapoor, were present to welcome wedding guests.
Another interesting point to be shared is that the wedding invite was not an ostentatious invitation card, rather it was a beautifully designed e-card that said, “Your presence on our special day is the only gift we desire.”
The bride was wearing traditional red lehenga with traditional jewellery while the groom was looking stunning in sherwani.
Having completed wedding rituals, Sonam will be seen in Veere Di Wedding with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar & Shikha Talsania.
The bride will also be seen at the Cannes Film Festival to represent L’Oreal, later this week.
While some Sonam’s fan are criticising her for deciding too early to get married after Sridevi’s death, we wish the couple a very happy life full of love peace and harmony.
