In the latest turn of events,it is now being said that the country of Singapore plans soon to launch wearable devices for coronavirus tracing – so as to counter the effects of the deadly virus that has made its mark all across the globe. If successful with the launch, the government claimed that it will go on to distribute the particular devices to all of the country’s 5.7 million residents. Indeed the government said : “If this portable device works. We may then distribute it to everyone in Singapore… This will be more inclusive and it will ensure that all of us will be protected.”
The state already took upon itself to develop the first-of-its-kind smartphone app so as to both identify as well as alert all those who might have come into contact with coronavirus carriers, however, bluetooth technology that it offers has been filled with glitches meaning that the app has not been very widely used.

The foreign minister in Vivian Balakrishnan told the parliament on Friday : “We are developing and will soon roll out a portable wearable device that will not depend on possession of a smartphone. If this portable device works, we may then distribute it to everyone in Singapore… This will be more inclusive, and will ensure that all of us will be protected.”
The device which still happens to be in development might be worn on a lanyard or possibly, might even be kept in a handbag.
