Previously, the Gmail redesign leaked in the lead up to the current year’s Google IO conference, making now the new Gmail available to even non-business users.
Want to try the redesign Gmail inbox? Here I am to guide you throughout the way.
Simply, go to your Gmail inbox and look toward the top right corner of the window. Now click on the gear icon. In the drop-down menu, you will see the new button at first. Press this new button that says ‘Try the new Gmail.’
The new Gmail redesign offers a few new features with lot of color to your inbox alongside some fantastic quality-of-life changes, making the whole page look more uniform in design language.
Now, the search bar at the top of your inbox does not look out of place, as it has a transparency showing through to whatever background you have set.
Now, the Primary, Social, & Promotions tabs at the top of your inbox will fit neatly over the list of emails. Google has added more color, and easy access to attachments in inbox with brighter unread emails. Selected emails will now be highlighted blue.

In the default view, emails having attachments will show what those attachments are, and you can open them directly from your inbox without digging into the email.
Google has also added icons for the labels for different types of email (Inbox, Starred, Important, Sent, etc).
Just design is not changed. Google has also added useful tools and some handy tweaks to Gmail.
Google will also now allow you to snooze emails, and you will be notified at a later time when you can respond. There is a new Snooze button that resides in a convenient place along with buttons for Archive, Delete, & Mark as unread/Mark as read.
The four buttons will show up at the right side of the email to make interacting with items in your inbox much faster.
The other new buttons on the right side of the new Gmail inbox offer quick access to your Google Calendar, Google Keep, & Tasks.
Google has also managed well to implement Google Smart Replies, best for short answers and thank yous. They may not show up at the bottom of all emails.
