Simple solution! If Start Menu Not Showing Apps in Windows 10

Windows 10, a sensible solid operating system, if start menu does not load apps then what do you do?
This same problem happened to my home PC and I’m lucky enough as a restart seemed to fix the problem.
Looking further into this matter it seems there are a lot of people out there experiencing with a lack of app act in their start menu. There are also lots of baffling links online that gives the solving impression for the same issue. Sadly not though, some of them are only there to make you constantly click on them in the useless hopes of downloading a hotfix file. You don’t need to fix this way though; there is a different, safer way.
We searched through many pages to find the correct fix for this issue. One fix that kept popping up more than any other was the following:

Several fixes out there offer this same answer in command prompt. We could not get this to work; running the same command in “Powershell“ PowerShell with Admin privileges found it running.

  • Click the Cortana O, type Powershell then Right click Powershell and select Run as Admin.
  • Open Powershell in Admin mode, Once Powershell is open in admin mode, go forward with the following:
  • Type the following syntax:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode-Register“$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}
(You can copy and paste in PowerShell)

  • After this has been put, your computer will start doing its fixation; going through the deployment operation process:

Your issues are short to be over. Once the process has finished you will see the blinking prompt come out once more beneath the concluded deployment processes.
Now all you require do is shut the command prompt window and tap your Start menu. All things went well, now your start menu is supposed to be working properly again.
If you are still having some issues then it might be advisable contacting Microsoft over the problem.
