Finally, the race to become the first manufacturer to launch a fully Bezel-less device has ended up officially, and the unexpected winner of this race is Sharp. In a way, this probably should not have been unexpected, seeing as Sharp, years ago, were the ones who had kicked off the trend with the stunning Sharp Aquos Crystal.
Sharp FS8016 and FS8010 are the brand new bezel-less Sharp devices, the two identical devices that different processors. The FS8016 features a Snapdragon 660 processor and the FS8010 have a Snapdragon 330. Both will be available in two variants of 4GB and 6GB RAM and paired with 64GB internal memory.
Both models will be featuring a 5.5-inch display having a resolution of 2048 x 1080p and high screen to body ratios. Both of the devices will come with dual 12MP rear cameras and an 8MP snap shooter. As for the preloaded software, both devices will come to run on Android 7.1.1. We will be able to find out more info at the official launch on the 17th of July, 2017.
This is the impressive feat for Sharp, though they have been pulling this stuff for a while now. Though these devices are clearly mid-range devices, that means any plucky company can still claim the spot of pioneer high-end Bezel-less device.
