This artificially intelligent chatbot, something in which Abyss Creations master in. You can’t really have sex with the bot, however, it is perfectly affectionate, intimate, and personally tailored to all your tastes.
“Realbotix” is what Abyss Creations use, which aims to bring the company’s “RealDolls” to life using an AI engine called Harmony. Harmony is already available as a standalone app. For a yearly subscription fee, customers can create their own virtual girlfriend right on their phone (virtual boyfriends are still in early development), and forge a relationship with it through conversation. Everything about these avatars — not just their hair, outfits and bust sizes, but their personalities — is fully customizable. The idea of these dolls basically is not to just have sex with them, but to talk to them, have fun with them – in the simplest of terms – have a companion.
These sexbots are not cheap to buy. Pre-configured models start at just a few thousand dollars, however, if you want a doll which is fully customized to your liking, you should expect to spend easily around a 10-15 thousand dollars. The talking, animatronic head with AI built in goes on sale at the end of this year. Should customers choose, they’ll be able to swap one in for their RealDoll’s original head for a cool $10,000. Who said companionship was cheap?
Even though the dolls can be heavily configured, and can be made just as the customers order them, there are lines that the company does not want to cross. They draw the line at children, animals, and celebrities that have not permitted dolls to be made with a striking resemblance to themselves. Companionship is not and never has been inexpensive, however, for those who are lonely, this is the perfect opportunity to have themselves someone to talk to, someone who’ll always understand them, and someone who’ll always care, and all this coming in a package that fits your needs exactly.
