Both the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro were launched by the Chinese brand Xiaomi on the 28th of February. The Redmi Note 7 was expected to go on sale on the 6th of March – yesterday, and as anticipated really, the first sale for the phone did not even last long as a result of all the units being sold out. Afterwards, it was revealed by Man Jain, who happens to be the head of Xiaomi in India, that the company produced more than 200,000 units of the phone ever since production began in India till date. He further revealed that more than 200,000 units happened to have been sold out in just a few minutes time.

It was made apparent that the Redmi Note 7 isn’t actually as popular as its counterpart – the Redmi Note 7 Pro,taking into consideration the response of the fans – before the launch actually took place. However, the device has sold like hot cakes. And now Xiaomi is looking to increase the production of both the phones, with the company working quite hard in order to achieve that goal. The Redmi Note 7 Pro is set to go on sale for the first time on the 13th March, with the expectation being that the sales for the Pro model will be even better than the non-pro version of the phone.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 comes with a 6.3-inch full HD+ “dot notch” display, coming with a 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, along with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, along with a 409ppi Pixel density. Internally, the phone features with the Snapdragon 660 Octa-core processor which is clocked at 2.2 GHz, coupled with the Adreno 512 GPU. There are two variants that the phone comes with – either 3 or 4 gigs of RAM. The variant featuring with 3 gigs of RAM comes with 32 gigs of internal storage, while the variant with 4 gigs of RAM features with 64 gigs of internal storage. While talking about the storage, potential customers can take great comfort in the fact that the phone will also have the option to expandable storage via the microSD card slot.
