So probably the biggest highlight of the Samsung Galaxy unpacking event held last weekwas definitely the launch of Samsung‘s first foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Fold. In contrast to that one other major highlight was the launch of there Samsung Galaxy S series devices which also included news about the Galaxy S10 5G device, which is set to be the first 5G device coming from the Korean giantsin the world which is set to welcome the emerging 5G technology. As of the moment however, the 5G infrastructure is currently non-existent so the phone will fail to make an impact if the Samsung puts it up for sale immediately. Hence this device will not be joining the other models which will begoing on sale immediately in the US but a recent report revealedby Engadget tips the Galaxy S10 5G device may be set to go on sale in April in the country of South Korea.

However,, there is no detail on when this device will be made available for sale in the US. Moreover the there US carrier Verizon will reportedly be the first to stock the device. The device is expected to be available on Verizon sometime in the second quarter of 2019. Verizon is also expected to launch mobile 5G in 30 cities during the first half of 2019. AT&T already has the relative 5G service running in several US cities while another services company known as, Sprint will debut 5G in a couple of US cities in the month of May. T-Mobile also announced that its 5G launch will comprise of 30 cities, but will be delayed until the second half of this year. Whenever it lands, it will be sold exclusively on Verizon for a while before the other major US carriers will stock it.
