The Samsung DeX station and Gear 360 (2017) are coming to Canada, very soon. Samsung has announced that both these devices will go on for sale in Canada today on the 26th of May, and they will be available at BestBuy and other selected retailers. You’ll have to pay a hefty price of $249 for the DeX dock, if you are to enjoy its services, while you’ll have to pull out an even heftier fee for the camera, at $349.99.
DeX is a docking accessory designed for your Samsung Galaxy s8, and s8 plus, that manages to connect to a monitor and brings along a solid desktop experience, powered by your smartphone. The DeX was announced along with Samsung’s flagship devices, in March, and was released in the US last month.
If it’s not already apparent by the name, let us make it clear for you. The Gear 360 camera is capable of capturing 360-degrees images and videos. It comes equipped with two 8.4 MP CMOS sensors with fisheye lenses and supports video recording at up to 4K resolution. To add to its qualities, the camera is compatible with quite a lot of Samsung smartphones, including the likes of the s7, s7 edge, s6, s6 edge, and Note 5.
