According to recent rumors surrounding Samsung it seems that Samsung are considering to launch a second version of their flip phone category. The Samsung Galaxy W2019 which will feature dual displays. Samsung also has a support page for the device on its official website and it has been revealed that the phone has received some important certifications in the previous few days. However any detailed information has not come out in the open so far but the same device bearing the SM-W2019 moniker has been approved by Wi-Fi alliance earlier in October and has already paid a visit to Chinese regulatory agency TENAA.
According to further leaks it seems the new phone will feature two 4.2 inch Super AMOLED displays as its predecessor and the flip phone is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor the same chipset which is being used in Samsung’s flagship phones including the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ as well as the Note 9. All in all there is still not enough detail revealed at this moment but some rumors do reveal that the phone will carry a 3000mAh battery and it is highly likely that it will also sport a dual rear camera and its design is similar to its predecessor. It also reveals that it will have a dual-SIM support with dual standby. The phone will also supposedly feature the same dual camera system as the Galaxy Note 9 and S9+ both of which also featured a dual rear Camera setup with dual 12 megapixel sensors one of which acted as a wide-angle camera while the second was being used for a telephoto camera feature.
