The Korean giants Samsung recently launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1, Samsung quietly added a new tablet to their product portfolio which seems like a cheaper alternative to Tab A 10.1.In addition to that the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 comes in cellular and Wi-Fi options and can also be compatible with the S-pen, for which it has a dedicated slot.
The Tab only recently released in Thailand but it is reported that this will reach markets in the UK, New Zealand, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam very soon.In terms of the design the new tab has a typical Samsung Tab look and so far comes in two colors, black and white. As the name suggests, the screen is measured at 8incheswhich is coupledwith a TFT display whichfeatures 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution. This is quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

In addition the new Galaxy Tabhas support for the S-pen which looks as ifit was installed directly from the Galaxy Note 8. There are no buttons on the screen but the phone does have a wide bezel on all sides. The S-pen goes in the slot on the right bottom.The tablet weighed in at about 325 grams and is measured at 8.9mm thickness.
