So DXOMark just released there ratings of the newly launched Samsung flagship phone the Galaxy S10+. Previously they also went ahead and gave there ratings to the Xiaomi’s newly launched Mi 9 flagship device on the 20th February. Moreover, the Xiaomi device earned itself the third highest rating for best smartphone camera for video and still photography which is a great milestone for the company. In contrast to the camera of cellphone devices, DXOMark did not wait too long and have already released there rating for the Flagship Samsung phone.

Now as per the rating released by the platform, the new S10 Plus scored and overall score of about 109 which placed it equal to the Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro and the P20 Pro. But, in terms of the still photography aspect of both devices, the Galaxy S10 plus emerged as the top phone and the phone with the best overall cell phone camera. It gained an astonishing score of 114 for the relative still photos taken by the phone’s camera which was the same for the Huawei devices mentioned before. In terms of the video aspect, the phone equaled the score with Mate 20 Pro but was just 1 point behind the newly launched P20 Pro device.

Furthermore, with these scores it can easily be concluded that the new Samsung Flagship device is definitely in the same league as the Huawei twin devices, in terms of the camera at least. DXOMarkalso reviewed the selfie camera of the new device which includes a dual selfie camera setup, one of the very few devices to come with such a setup at the front side of the mobile phone. The phone earned a great score of 96, which was way higher than the Huawei Mate 20 Pro which scored 75 and the P20 Pro which scored 72. Finally in terms of the ranking, Huawei still has the top two spots, while the Galaxy S10+ earned itself the 3rd spot, good for Huawei!
