Samsung released its latest flagship phone – the Galaxy Note 9 just a few days ago. After the sluggish performance of sales that were followed by the Galaxy s9, the hopes very high that the Galaxy Note 9 would not follow the same pattern. Samsung was desperate for the Pre order sale numbers for the Galaxy Note 9 to be high, their desperation proved by the fact that the company would actually consider cutting off the Note lineup all together, if the sale numbers aren’t quite what the company expect them to be. However, it doesn’t seem that this sort of situation would arise, because if the pre order sales are anything to go by, in the future, the Galaxy Note 9 will actually perform well with regards to the sale numbers and it looks like Samsung’s expectations will be met, if not exceed.
A report from Korea, the company’s home country states that the Pre order sale numbers for the Note 9 are more than just impressive, especially when compared to those of the Galaxy s9. The report not only stated that the sale numbers were impressive, but it had also gone as far as to say that the number of Pre orders for the Note 9 were thirty to fifty percent more higher than the Galaxy s9. This of course has not been confirmed just yet, however the sources reporting these statistics are more than reliable.

Though the numbers are impressive, especially when compared to the s9, they are not quite as much when compared to note 9’s predecessor, the Galaxy Note 8. The Note 8 was a huge hit especially when you consider that it came to fill the hole left by the Note 7, after its battery issues. However, this comparison could mean a lot of things. It could mean that actually, the sales of the s9 were actually even more weaker than confirmed by Samsung, though the company strongly disagrees.
Another thing which we can make out with this report is that maybe, the situation is different for the Korean markets. Remember, this report is from a Korean source, and so It just as might mean that the south Korean market is different from the other markets around the globe.
However, even when you bring in the factor of the Korean market, it’s good to see the Note 9 performing well in the market – even if it’s just in the Korean one.
