Starting the 3rd of June, Samsung is to roll out the Android Pie update for three phones which made their debuts recently – the Galaxy M10, M20 and finally, the Galaxy M30. The news comes after an official announcement by the Korean manufacturer itself.
Not only will the update bring along the latest of the security patch, but it will also bring about Samsung’s One UI interface. The One UI replaced the previous Samsung Experience overlay, and bringsalong a range of features which go the distance in providing the users the solution to one-handed phone use, while also placing certain UI elements well within reach.
Not only this but One UI also goes on to introduce a new gesture navigation system, while there are also improvements to DeX, the ability to re-map the Bixby button to an app or command, and more.

Not taking the Pie features for granted, as they too will make an appearance with the latest update in mind. These features will range from the likes of a new app overview screen, to slight changes to notifications, improved text selection, Digital Wellbeing and more. One thing to note here is that while Digital Wellbeing is a feature introduced by Pie, it is not available for every Samsung phone which runs Pie.
The Galaxy M10, M20 and the M30 were introduced by the Korean manufacturer in an attempt to provide competition to Chinese manufacturers that have seen a rapid rise in their market shares in recent times. These include the likes of Xiaomi, Vivo, Honor and Oppo. Realme too has gotten into the picture recently, threatening Samsung’s position in the Indian market due to its high-end smartphone offering in relatively cheap to mid-range prices.
