Samsung Galaxy A20 now official

Samsung isn’t coming slow with its mid-range phone segments, because just as we think that the Korean manufacturer is done for a little while, it pops up to give yet another option to all those who want to purchase a mid-ranger. The most recent phone from Samsung is the Samsung Galaxy A20 – a phone which will supposedly slot itself in between the Galaxy A10 and the Galaxy A30 while also competing with Samsung’s very own M30 – something which would give in return healthy profits.

The latest M and A series phones feature with relatively big displays, the latest of the bunch, the Galaxy A20 is no different, as the phone too features with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-V display. However, the A20 does differ from the Galaxy M30 and the A30 when you consider the fact that it features with an HD+ (720 x 1560) resolution panel.

The phone is fueled by the Exynos 7884 chipset, which is similar to the entry level counterpart of the Galaxy A-series : the Galaxy A10. The Exynos 7884 is integrated with 3 gigs of RAM along with 32 gigs of internal storage. The phone also has support for dual SIM cards, while also coming with a microSD card slot for the purposes of storage expansion.

On the back of the device, we have a dual camera setup – with the primary camera sporting a 13MP sensor with an f/1.9 lens. The second of the two cameras is a 5MP ultra-wide shooter.

The phone comes with a 4000mAh battery, with a USB Type C port along with the support for 15W fast charging.

The phone has been made official in India, and will run Android Pie with the new One UI right out of the box. The phone is priced at a mediocre $180 in India – while being available in three colors : red, blue and black. The phone is set to go on sale stating the 10th of April.
