Samsung has just gone on to make it official : it will indeed unveil its third foldable phone along with its other flagship device in the Samsung Galaxy Note. In its own words, the company is quoted to have said : “The company will continue to offer differentiated products in the premium segment with the launch of new foldable and Note models.”
Such news comes after previous reports confirmed that smartphone sales have seen a massive dip – as massive as 38% in February, when compared with last year. With that said, the introduction of yet another pricy foldable phone in the already falling smartphone market is only going to raise a few eyebrows.
It is quite likely that the Galaxy Fold 2 will follow the foundations that have been laid down by the original Galaxy Fold that was launched last year. Many expected that the overall idea of the design would remain same with some tweaks here and there – and so is the case, if rumors and speculation has anything to say at least. Indeed it has been claimed that the upcoming phone will actually feature with a larger screen placed on the outside with the overall look remaining pretty much the same.

It has also been rumored actually that the upcoming flagship foldable phone from the Korean manufacturer will feature with the a stylus. If this does turn out to be the case, then the introduction of the S pen would quite certainly make the Galaxy Fold much more like a tablet as well as more of a multitasking tool.
Coming back to the screens though, we’re also quite likely to see the inclusion of higher refresh rate screens. Indeed the larger screen that will be found within the Galaxy Fold will have a 120Hz refresh rate, while the smaller screen will max out at 60Hz.
