SALMAN BUTT GETS THE BATTERING OF A LIFETIME WITH LATEST TWEET

Pakistan v India was definitely getting a lot of attention with around a billion fans worldwide tuning in to watch the subcontinental sides battling it off on the field. However, what we watched yesterday was an Indian masterclass in batting, bowling and fielding. When a team wins in all three phases of the game, then they win the game being the best team and that’s exactly what India did. Pakistan seemed to learn from the Indian batsmen and got themselves in a respectable position after losing the middle order again in a few years leading to another collapse and another loss in this World Cup. However, it’s the tweet by a certain player is what caught Twitter’s attention yesterday and the scenes weren’t pretty. Salman butt gets the battering of a lifetime with latest tweet.

Salman Butt, the extremely talented opener of Pakistan who got himself in a mess with spot fixing against England was let go by the PCB board and now has finally returned to local cricket playing in the local tournaments. However, the revival has been a good sign, the tweet that he posted after the loss was adding salt to the wounds:

Must Read: My Zong App – Better Than Ever

Cannot learn cannot grow. Keep doing yo-yo

He criticized the management and the team for being too stubborn to change and although he might be right, that coming from a professional player at that particular time wouldn’t be received well at all. A similar situation came around when Shoaib Akhter questioned the fitness of the Captain and was put under scrutiny as well. However, Salman received a backlash as well

A lot of tweets showed how pissed off everyone was:

You sold your country, you have no right to comment on this

What’s the rate of fixing these days?

Sorry to say @im_SalmanButt , you are the main culprit for such destruction of Pakistan Cricket Team. You really let the Pak team down when he was at its peak as we got captain (you ) for all the three formats for long time along with two brilliant bowlers#Fixing

As you can see, twitter was having none of it and after the painful defeat, it was more the anger of the match that came down upon Salman, a little advice, make sure you select the right time to post a tweet.
