This year, Samsung decided to mix it up a bit when launching its flagship series devices. The new Galaxy S Series was on the receiving end of a new affordable variant that comes with an “e” suffix alongside, while the Note series was split into a standard and a Plus variant. By the looks of it though, the company isn’t done just yet, as the Korean manufacturer is set to introduce the Galaxy S10 Lite and the Galaxy Note 10 Lite.
Both the devices have also been in the news with regards to the certification process, which makes it all the more apparent that they are now more closer to launch than ever. The Galaxy S10 Lite has been subject to certification by Thailand’s NBTC. It is expected that the phone will arrive this month, and will feature with the Snapdragon 855 processor, eight gigs of RAM and 128 gigs of internal storage. The phone is also expected to come with a punch-hole display much like the Galaxy Note 10 as well as a triple camera setup – with a design much similar to what we have seen with the recently announced Galaxy A71.
As far as the Note 10’s certification goes, it has been certified by the Blue Special Interest Group (SIG) – hence confirming that the phone will be arriving with Bluetooth 5.1.
The device made an appearance on Geekbench just last month. It will be powered by the Exynos 9810 processor, and will arrive with six gigs of RAM, running Android 10 right from the box. The device is also expected to arrive with a punch-hole AMOLED display, an In-display fingerprint scanner as well as an S-Pen that will have Bluetooth compatibility. And while the S10 is expected to make an appearance this month, the Note 10 Lite may not arrive until next year.
