So as per the latest rumors,it is believed that the Chinese giants OnePlus have been working on their own version of the smartwatch and rumors surrounding that possibility have been coming in and out in recent times. So it was pretty clear that the company are looking to possibly launch this new innovation however, the big question was when this announcement will come. The big announcement kept getting postponed by the company because they wanted to keep their focus on smartphones and the recent OnePlus TV. Only after the success of these two products could they think of another one to add to their product portfolio.
As per the latest on Twitter, the Chinese tech giant seem prepared to the launch its first-ever smartwatch. Furthermore,it is expected that OnePlus will launch their first-ever smartwatch alongside the OnePlus 8 somewhere around Q2 2020. Now so far the tweet only says it will be a fitness band, however, some sources have also claimed that the device is going to be a regular smartwatch. The sketches from 2016 have shown that the device will be featuring a pretty conventional smartwatch design which can be adjusted to straps and a round dial. Other than that, there are currently no details on the device, so it is hard to say anything about the specifications of the device just yet. Moreover, OnePlus may bring a wearable version of Oxygen OS or may have something entirely new considering how long they’ve had this project.
