Apple’s latest flagship, the iPhone 8 will feature with not only an OLED display, but also wireless charging, an all-glass design, and much, much more. Now, reports are also coming in, claiming that the phone will feature with four colors, including a new ‘mirror like’ option. This new option is not very well know within the grounds of the smartphone market, but it is imaginable. To get the grasp of the phone, just think of it as an iPhone in a mirror case, the one’s presence on the market, or perhaps one of those old iPods. Now, I’m not saying that it will be totally identical to that, just giving you somewhat of an idea.
This story of the different four color options comes from Twitter leaker Benjamin Gaskin, whose claim comes from an unnamed source, and follows a report Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI, who is generally considered very reliable. Kuo specified in his report that the iPhone 8 will be available in fewer colors than usual, in a bid to maintain “boutique” branding. Even though KGI has a very strong and decent track record, it would be wrong to say that this report of fewer colors necessarily means that the mirror color option is not a possibility.
Past links have shown images of the iPhone 8 in both black and white, which would have been predictable. With the third option being that of the mirror one, it would be hard to imagine what the fourth option will bring us with; gold and rose gold both being possible options.
We have already been introduced to some very unique reports, which have claimed that the iPhone 8 would not feature Touch ID at all, but rather new facial technology. This, combined with the possibility of new mirror-like color option certainly would make the fans a bit more excited, and would also tend to give Apple’s rivals something to think about!
