Apple’s next flagship phone in the iPhone 12 may arrive with a redesigned iOS – with wider use of widgets in the gone screens as well as the regular app icons. Even more excitingly though, the latest rumors point towards the introduction of a whole new possibility : a while new way to use the control center. Report highlights exciting new iPhone feature.
When the online only World Wide Developers conference takes place two months from now in June, it is expected that Apple will unveil its upcoming iOS 14. Courtesy of several reports, many of the features that the upcoming OS will have within have already actually leaked out – these including the likelihood of a new way to use apps, as well as seven upgrades to the next Apple watch.
Widgets are basically icons which do more than just the regular app icon. Taking a weather widget for example – where the weather app icon on the iPhone just goes on to show that the sun is out, the weather widget might actually be a tad more up-to-date as far as meteorological information is concerned.
News as well as stocks too similarly have theagssg information spontaneously revealed. Unfortunately though, on the iPhone, you can only get to widgets via the Today View – which happens to be found by swiping left from the first page of apps for example. And so, if there are in fact widgets placed on the home screen going along with the regular app icons would really showcase a big change for Apple. Not to mention, this would also be quite exciting for the users.
While previous reports were sure to mention the possibility that this new feature will be arriving on the iOS 14, the more recent reports actually say that the introduction might be held off until iOS 15. It will be a shame if we have to wait until that, but for now, since nothing is official, let’s just hope it is iOS 14 for now.
