The Reno 3 series is expected to be announced no further than that of next month. The series will consist of devices that will be the very first to have the company’s all new ColorOS 7 UI integrated within. Now, a teaser has also been leaked by the company’s VP Brian Shen, with the teaser showing that the Reno 3 Pro 5G will come with a display that will be slightly curved. It has also been claimed by Shen himself that the upcoming device might just be the slimmest dual-mode 5G enabled smartphone in China.
The images available on the internet show that the display of the Reno 3 Pro 5G curves along with the edges of the device. It has also since been revealed by the VP that the device is only 7.7 mm thick, while the previous OPPO Reno 2, which came with a notch-less display along with a pop-up camera was 1.8 mm more thick.

It is a quite drastic change the OPPO has implemented with regards to the company reducing the thickness to only 7.7mm. As it seems, this has been achieved as the latest version of the Reno device does not arrive with the shark-fin shaped pop-up camera system – which was ever too apparent in the previous version of the device. While it hasn’t been confirmed, it is quite likely that the Reno 3 Pro 5G will arrive with a punch-hole display design.
Reports previously have indicated that the Reno 3 Pro 5G will arrive with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels full HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is also possible that the device may offer 90Hz refresh rate. It may also be the very first device that comes with the Snapdragon 735 5G integrated within, however, for now, this isn’t confirmed. The device may arrive with eight gigs of RAM and 128 or 256 gigs of internal storage.
