Xiaomi already confirmed that the company is indeed holding a Redmi Note 9 series event, and contrary to past expectations, it looks as if we can expect a bit more from the company than previously imagined.
Indeed on its forum, the company has already proceeded on to confirm that the previously leaked Mi Note 10 Lite too will be making an appearance at the event. A listing courtesy of FCC goes on to point towards the possibility that the phone will swap out the Mi Note 10’s 108MP camera for a 64MP shooter instead. Otherwise, it seems as if the Mi Note 10 Lite will go on to offer four other cameras (8MP+8MP+5MP+2MP). The standard model on the other hand goes on to offer a setup of 20MP:12MP+5MP+2MP.
Other than this though, you can probably expect the very same Snapdragon 730G chipset along with the same 5260mAh battery that also features in the standard Mi Note 10.

Anyways, coming back to the Redmi Note 9, the device is expected to feature with a 6.55-inch FHD+ LCD display, a 2Ghz octa-core processor, up to six gigs of RAM and a 4920mAh battery. As far as the processor is concerned, it could be the MediaTek Helio G85 – and if this does turn out to be the case, then it will be an upgrade over the budget-focused Helio G80.
As far as pricing is concerned, the claim is there that the device will be available for just around $211 in China. This is the same price that we can expect in other part of the world as well – including Pakistan. For now though, this is all we know with regards to the plans that Xiaomi has adopted as far as the company’s upcoming launch plans go. If there is something new to be caught on, we’ll update you soon.
