So Redmi are moving towards expanding there product portfolio as it seems the company are ready to enter the TV market as well. Redmi have seen a lot of success over the years and the company believes its time to explore other options as well and make those options available for others as well. Moreover, the company recently held an event in China where,there brand, Redmi launched a lot of great devices which not only included the next generation Redmi Note 8/Note 8 Pro devices but in addition to that Redmi also launched there take on a television and well there take on a TV is a huge smart TV which comes with some pretty decent features at a rock solid price.
It should be known that the new Redmi TV is now the cheapest 70-inch TV currently made available in the the market and the company have not launched an ordinary TV, the TV launched by Redmi still packs some pretty nice features at the attractive price. The Redmi TV comes with a 70-inch HDR display coupled along with a beautiful, 4K resolution. According to the company, it is 60 percent larger than a basic 55-inch panel. The display is loaded with a state of the art, sixth-generation Picture Quality Engine which helps in improving the overall picture quality in real time.

Moving on to the hardware capabilities, the new smart TV is powered by an Am logic quad-core 64-bit processor which has been clocked ata 1.5GHz efficiency along with a 750 Mhz Mali-450 MP3 GPU. The TV also has a built-in 2 GB RAM which is accompanied with a 16 GB internal storage. The company haven’t compromised on the sound as well, the new TV comes loaded with the latest Dolby Audio coupled along with a DTS-HD audio.
Redmi TV comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.2 support, with 3 HDMI ports along with 2 additional USB ports. In addition to the aforementioned features, the Redmi TV also has a Bluetooth voice-based remote controller and voice assistants quite like the Amazon’s Alexa. The smart TV is currently available to be bought on a pre-order service in at a remarkable price of only 3,799 Yuan (~$531) and we certainly hope that the company decide on launching the new TV in Pakistan as well.
