So the sub-brand of one of the leading companies in the mobile phone industry, Xiaomi are looking all set to launch there next phone in this year. Redmi have announced the 7A device which is a direct successor to there previous device the 6A and well on first glance not a lot has changed in terms of design and hardware, however the new model will get a gigantic battery as compared to the previous model.
In terms of the design we cannot find any major or significant changes when we compare the successor with the predecessor. It bears a lot of resemblance to last year’s design of phones which are starting to lose fashion as we move on to the next year. The phone does not have notch, however it has a pretty thick top and bottom bezel. The device still does not have an option for a fingerprint sensor, which shows that the company have not brought in any futuristic aspects to this particular model as yet. The only distinguishing feature in terms of the design would probably be the that of the rear camera module which is now set up vertically rather than horizontally.
There is no difference in the screen size or the resolution of the device as the device still has a 5.4 inches screen along with an HD resolution.In terms of the storage capability of the new device, the memory and storage variants which will be available are either 2GB/16GB or 3GB/32GB, the storage of the device can of course be further expanded further withan additional microSD card.The phone will draw power from the Snapdragon 439 chipset, which is a switchover from the previously equipped Helio A22. In terms of the device’s software the new phone will runs on the MIUI with an Android 9.0 Pie base.
The phone packs a primary camera of 13MP at the back along with an LED flash, the phone has only one camera at the back, while the front camera has the resolution of 5MP. Moving on the highlight feature of the device is definitely the upgrade to the battery capacity and well Redmi have not disappointed in that department. The phonewill pack a very large 4,000 mAh battery which provide a long run time to the users, keeping in mind the budget phone specs, this should help users enjoyabout 2-3 days of run time, which is quite exceptional. The device’s price announced on the May 28th which is reportedly the launch date of the device as well.
