Considering the fact that Realme as an entity is just a year old, its growth has been nothing short astonishing. In the short time, the company has managed to grow from its roots of being just a small-time sub-brand of Oppo to one of the most recognized and sought out smartphone manufacturers around the globe. Indeed in the mid-range budget segment, Realme has been doing as well as anybody else. And these are not just claims – as the numbers do their best to back up Realme in its clear as day success. As has been the case, in accordance to counterpoint’s Q2 2019 Market Monitor report, Realme as a company has made its way into the top ten smartphone OEM club. No one would have imagined this feat when Realme started out just a year ago. Neither the numbers, nor the success is at all surprising though – as Realme earlier in the month, announced that it managed to ship more than ten million smartphones worldwide – and this too in only 14 months.

And it’s easy to see why the company’s phones have such a good reputation. The Realme 3 Pro offers excellent value for money in the mid-range market – being a direct competitor to the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Realme is looking only to further enhance its reputation, as it continues to build upon the success that it has already managed to accumulate. The brand has already released the Realme 5 Pro, which happens to be the company’s very first quad-camera smartphone. Also not to forget the Realme XT which will arrive with the Samsung GW1 64MP sensor and the phone will directly rival the Redmi Note 8 Pro – which features with the very same sensor.
Indeed Realme has no plans to stop as the company continues to release smartphones. It seems as if it has strong plans to take on the likes of Redmi – to really be the king of the mid-range smartphone market.
