Realme 2 Pro spotted at Geekbench

Back in September of 2018, the Realme 2 Pro was launched, and with that said, the phone became the third phone coming from Oppo’s sub-brand of Realme. Realme had also gone on to promise all its users in previous times that all of the company’s smartphones will be updated in the first half of 2019. With that being said, it now finally seems as if the company is looking to do good on its promise, as the Realme 2 Pro is expected to be the very first handset from the company that’ll go on to be on the receiving end of the Android 9 Pie update.

The Realme 2 Pro is the company’s most expensive phone that the company has produced till date. Hence it made quite the sense when Realme decided to bring the pie update to this phone first. Moreover, the phone has also been spotted at Geekbench, running Android 9 Pie. With that said, the update for Android Pie is imminent.

The phone features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ screen, and the display goes on to sport a Waterdrop notch – recognized as the Dewdrop by the company. The phone also features a Snapdragon 660 chipset, coming with 8 gigs of RAM and 128 gigs of internal storage. The phone’s camera setup includes a dual one at the back – consisting of 16MP + 2MP. However, the primary sensor is actually positioned behind a fast f/1.7 lens. The selfie camera which is hosted by the notch has a resolution of 16MP, and an f/2.0 lens. However, there is also an oval fingerprint scanner, along with the Realme logo found at the back of the phone.

The phone comes in three variants – 4/64GB, 6/64GB, and 8/128GB. The Realme 2 Pro is also quite similar to the regular Realme 2. The phone runs ColorOS 5.2, which is based on the Android 8.1 Oreo – right out of the box. However, like I’ve stressed upon many times, the shift from Oreo to Pie shouldn’t take that long now. The phone also comes with a huge 3500mAh battery, while the phone has a range of new and quite interesting features, including the likes of : Easy Screenshot, to the likes of Clone Phone, and Smart Play as well.
